About
Gerri Winchell Findley
Gerri Winchell Findley is a Nashville artist and designer who builds entire worlds out of color.
Her work drifts between whimsical sketches and vibrant patterns—characters, florals, city moments, and pop-culture flashes captured with the kind of ease that only comes from decades of looking closely at life.
Her art is rooted in a long line of influences: the imaginative bend of Dr. Seuss, the tender lines of Joan Walsh Anglund, the clever margins of Sergio Aragonés, the hidden “Ninas” of Al Hirschfeld. Renoir left a soft imprint; Dufy gave her permission to play. Even now, people say her style winks at Quentin Blake—and honestly, they’re not wrong.

Gerri has sketched everything from Nashville street corners to live award shows, album covers, iconic music moments, Shark Tank scenes, The Voice, kids at play, and the everyday joy that most of us rush past. In 2022, she served as the official artist for the Tomato Art Fest—proof that her blend of charm and boldness resonates far beyond her sketchbook.
When she’s not drawing, she’s probably in the garden, tinkering with a remodel, swimming laps, or enjoying her family around a fire.
